COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Freshman Kci Lindskog leads the way for the Tigers following the first round of the NCAA DI Men’s Golf Bryan Regional is hosted by Texas A&M University. This marks the first Regional appearance for the program since 2007.

Lindskog posted a steady 3-over round opening round of 75 and is currently T47. Junior Devansh Chadha is three strokes back on 78 but showed true heart throughout his round. Chadha was 8-over after the first four holes then had three back-to-back birdies during his second nine.

“We are gaining valuable experience as a program. It seemed that a couple of our guys had ‘ah-hah’ moments that hopefully will help in their development,” Texas Southern University head golf coach, Dr. Gary Grandison said.

The Tigers tee up for the second round of the NCAA DI Men’s Golf Bryan Regional Tuesday morning with an 9:20 a.m. start at The Traditions Club Golf Course.
