HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Texas Southern Women’s Golf is in 10th place following day 1 of the Remax Prime Properties Bearkat Invitational hosted by Sam Houston State University.
Senior Ashlie Hobbs leads the way for the Tigers after carding a 9-over 80 and is tied for 32nd. Lyla Vaughn is two strokes back on 82. Due to unplayable conditions caused by heavy rain, round 2 was canceled and the tournament has been shortened to 36 holes.
The Tigers conclude their efforts in the final round of the Remax Prime Properties Bearkat Invitational at Elkins Lake Golf Course Tuesday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
