BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Conference play for Southwestern Athletic Conference women's bowling is set to get underway Friday, January 20 with the West Division Round Up at Emerald Bowl in Houston, Texas (9307 Boone Rd. 77099). The round up is a three day event, ending Sunday, January 22.
Teams competing include: Texas Southern, Alabama State, Grambling State, Jackson State, Prairie View A&M, Southern and Alabama A&M.
The roundup marks the first time that member schools will be in action since the All State Sugar Bowl Collegiate, where five SWAC schools (Texas Southern, Alabama State, Southern, Jackson State and Grambling State) competed in New Orleans, La. in early December.
