D'IBERVILLE, Miss. – The 2018 Southwestern Athletic Conference bowling regular season title came down to the final round in a match between Texas Southern and Alabama State. The Lady Hornets narrowly took home the crown with a 910-903 win.
The Lady Hornets and TSU both finished the regular season with identical 18-6 record, but ASU was awarded the regular season title by virtue of a tiebreaker over the Lady Tigers.
Denisyha Waller of Texas Southern had the second best average at 193.3 in 24 games bowled.
Texas Southern will look to bring home a SWAC Title when the top six teams in the SWAC standings meet at the 2018 SWAC Bowling Championship, at the ITRC in Arlington, Texas from March 23-25.
