A total of 156 Texas Southern student-athletes were named to the 2019-20 SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the past academic year.
The Tiger football team had 28 student-athletes honored followed by 22 from the softball program. Both the women's track & field/cross country and soccer teams placed 15 student-athletes on the honor roll while 14 members from the baseball team earned a spot. The men's track/cross country squad had 13 student-athletes recognized along with 12 from the women's basketball team.
Both men's basketball and volleyball placed 10 student-athletes on the honor roll followed by seven (7) student-athletes from the bowling team. The men's and women's golf programs rounded out the honor roll with five (5) student-athletes apiece.
