Judy Dyer, Steve Tilford and Clardy Vinson have been selected for induction into the Topeka Shawnee County Sports Council Hall of Fame.
Dyer, Tilford and Vinson will be inducted Thursday, June 23, at the Downtown Ramada Inn and Convention Center.
All three members of the 2016 Hall of Fame class are Topeka High graduates and all three earned spots on The Capital-Journal's list of the Top 100 Athletes in Shawnee County history in 2011.
Dyer was a 1966 Topeka High graduate and went on to star at Texas Southern. Dyer made the United States Olympic team in 1968 and competed in the hurdles at the Mexico City Olympics.
Dyer was No. 30 on The Capital-Journal list of Shawnee County's Top 100 Athletes and she is a member of the Texas Southern Athletics Hall of Fame and the Southwestern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.
