Texas Southern basketball coach Mike Davis has received a two-year contract extension that will continue through the 2017-18 season, TSU athletic director Charles McClelland said Friday.
Davis in his first season at TSU led the Tigers to the Southwestern Athletic Conference regular-season championship with a 16-2 league record and an overall 17-14 record.
