The Woodlands Strykers recently added Texas Southern infielder Adrian Lopez to their roster, replacing Conroe native Greg Belton, who still has lingering pain from knee surgery earlier this summer.

Lopez played in 40 games for the Strykers last summer and hit .180 with two home runs and 18 RBI.

The 5-foot-8 sophomore started 39 games for Texas Southern this past spring and hit .231/.326/.248 while posting a .938 fielding percentage.

He saw his first action for the Strykers on Tuesday night, going 0 for 3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base.
