The Texas Southern University Debate Team returned to the campus, recently, after having competing in the 24th Annual International Forensics Tournament, sponsored by the International Forensics Association, held in Paris, France. One of sixteen schools in competition, the TSU team made it to the finals and ranked second, qualifying for the runner up Honor, as 2014 International Champions in Parliamentary Debate, presented at the Awards Assembly, at the end of the tournament. On the way to this ranking, the team amassed a record of four wins and no losses. The team ranked second to George Mason University.
