• The SWAC Digital Network will feature the matchups -
Texas Southern at Prairie View A&M on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. and Alabama A&M at Jackson State on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
• Alabama A&M and Alabama State are currently tied for first in the Southwestern Athletic Conference east division with a 3-0 record
• Alabama A&M Head Coach Nedra Brown is going for her 100 win against South Carolina State on 10/14. SCSU currently stands at 2-17
• For the second time this season, three players from Alabama State landed SWAC weekly honors. On September 16, Amber Bennett (Offensive), LaToya Ellington (Defensive) and Ellyn Jones (Newcomer). This week (10/14) Bennett (Offensive) and Marshall (Defensive) returned tradinging titles, joined by Tiara Kelley who earns her first award.
