Black Golf Alliance To Partner With Texas Southern Golf

The Black Golf Alliance has created a Juneteenth Weekend golf event that will benefit the Texas Southern University men’s and women’s golf programs. The event, which will be held June 18-20, 2021, will bring a full weekend of golf, fun, unity, and empowerment to the Houston area.

“Texas Southern University is extremely excited about receiving significant support from the Black Golf Alliance,” said TSU head men’s and women’s golf coach, Dr. Gary Grandison. “The Black Golf Alliance is doing an amazing job with growing the game of golf. I hope that the masses come together to support this wonderful cause especially during the weekend of Juneteenth.”

The historic Juneteenth weekend includes three exciting rounds of golf at the Tour 18 Golf Course, Cypresswood Golf Club, and Cypress Lakes Golf Course. Registration opened on Jan. 1, 2021 as the deadline will be April 30, 2021. For more information and to register, log on to www.blackgolfalliance.com or email them at [email protected].

The Black Golf Alliance’s focus is ‘Growing the game of golf in the black community through love, unity, and respect for each other and the game itself’. Proceeds from this memorable tournament will aid both the TSU’s men’s and women’s golf programs quest in completing a state-of-the-art golf facility.
