Arnes Named SWAC Soccer Offensive Player Of The Week

Texas Southern soccer student-athlete Ashley Arnes was named the SWAC’s Offensive Player of the Week.

A redshirt sophomore, Arnes delivered a spectacular performance this past weekend during Texas Southern’s 3-2 road win over Southern on Friday. She contributed two goals during the contest as she helped lead the Lady Tigers to their first conference win of the season. The Layton, Utah native was a thorn in SU’s side with seven shots in total.

TSU is back in action on Friday as they’ll face Alabama State at 7 p.m. in Montgomery, Ala.
