Academy Sports + Outdoors To Carry TSU Apparel This Fall

Starting this fall, Texas Southern University paraphernalia will be available at local Academy Sports & Outdoors stores in the Houston area.

“This is a major milestone for TSU and our Athletic Department,” said Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Kevin Granger. “I would like to extend a special thanks to Cameron Bridgewater of Learfield and Academy Sports for their efforts in making this a reality. Now, our alumni and friends of the university will have the ability to purchase our merchandise at their many locations.

Academy Sports + Outdoors is the Official Sporting Goods and Outdoor Retailer of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The partnership between Academy Sports + Outdoors and the SWAC focuses on establishing meaningful community initiatives within the SWAC footprint. Academy is a leading full-line sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer in the United States.  Originally founded in 1938 as a family business in Texas, Academy has grown to 259 stores across 16 contiguous states.
